Circle of Eight Dinners occur two or three times each year. Members host dinners and normally provide the main dish, while guests brings side dishes and dessert. This offers an opportunity for church members and friends to get to know one another in a casual setting.
First Sunday Potluck is held after service on the first Sunday of the month. Members and friends bring potluck dishes to share family style.
UU bUUk clUUb is held the fourth Thursday of the month, and we meet at a member’s home. We select books in advance and read fiction and nonfiction books. Normally one book is discussed each month.
Men’s Night Out is held on an occasional basis, usually on a Friday at 6 p.m. Ordinarily we order pizzas to fit the number coming, who then divide the bill.
Women’s Group meets occasionally on a week day evening at 6 p.m. The purpose is to socialize and get to know one another in more depth. We meet at a member’s home, and a topic is discussed which we share our thoughts. Bring a dish to share and your choice of beverage.
UU Adults Into Having Fun is held on an occasional basis throughout the year. This can include social gatherings, outdoor activities, contradancing, films, concerts, or the theater.
Summer Gatherings can include events such as hikes, picnics, potluck breakfast brunch, a women’s tea and services on Mullen Pass. You will be notified by email for these gatherings.
